Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is the country music and pop singer. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in 2015. She released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of the Village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years of experience working in public service, including almost five years as the Deputy City Manager in Iowa City. As the Assistant Village Manager her current responsibilities include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department and completing the various projects. Ashley is responsible for managing the operations and activities of Riverside Village while also implementing the goals and strategies that elected representatives. Ashley's prior roles have included municipal planning government communications budgeting personnel management and collective bargaining as well as focusing on climate action initiatives. Ashley gained valuable insight from working with national organisations as well as her involvement in different communities. Ashley's course focuses on contemporary approaches to public management and leadership from the standpoint of a seasoned practitioner. She focuses on adapting the ethical and strategic choices to take advantage of today's opportunities and challenges. She also helps navigate intergovernmental relationships.
